Working with others to raise awareness of upcycling.

Collaborating with others to organise or be involved in different projects and events is a great opportunity to communicate the benefits of garment upcycling to a wider audience. This also provides the opportunity to engage more people with the debates surrounding unsustainable practices within the fashion industry.

To work with others passionate about the importance of sustainability is a joy. The growing demand and interest in sustainable practice in the fashion and textiles industry ranges  from unique hand crafted products to advanced textile technology, chemistry and engineering for mass production.  It is this demand and broad appeal of the industry that makes fashion a great communicator of issues relating to sustainability.

Through fashion, concepts are explored and messages are communicated with a creative and visual approach that works to engage people and encourage behaviour change.
